Time to go on

Couples more documents to review, packing few more boxes, then it's time to go. Time to leave the office and the people I spent the most time with for the past 4 years. It is not easy to bid farewell, and its harder to think about what may come next. The new place, the new people to work with. Aihh..if I am given a chance to choose, I would stay. Definitely.

I am gonna miss you all.

I do not welcome changes, most obviously not this.

(deep breath and a sighhh).. but it doesnt mean I am not up for it. With a little faith and courage, bring it on. ('kuling, kuling, kuling' ~ calling for re-charge)

Langsat

The best time in Kampung (after Christmas) is musim buah! (fruit season). This year, we got our fair share of buah where almost all of the fruit trees bloomed with colourful and tasty fruits. One of my favourite is Langsat, and this year, we have it abudantly (we even sell some to the market, rm1.00 per kilo!). These are some of the pictures I took during our operation.

of course with a ladder!

Eat all you can
This year musim buah for Ranau was on August and September, I can't wait for the next season!

Equality

There is this planning of my mobilization to Sarawak, and the thing is, I am not entitled to any allowances increase! Simply coz Sabah and Sarawak is grouped as one region, so being a Sabahan is also means I am a Sarawakian. I was furious last week when the management e-mailed me this explanation, it is arguable right, I mean.. well, define locality? Try distance, try air fare, try language, culture, and all many more stuffs that lead to the discovery that I am not a Sarawak local.. (sigh).

However, despite of the long list of unfairness i kept in chest (well, colleagues from peninsular make twice than what I get) damn no, I did not argue back, a decision I made after a simple risk calculation (argue then a high possibility of job-less ~ not a good timing). Lacking of other alternative, I rest my case.

This arrangement in a sense motivates me. Let be the best in what we do! by the way I might be a Sarawakian after all.

Wedding Vow Renewal

Its another adventure with Dongdeng and for the first time joined by flashy flo. The vow renewal took place at our church in kampung on 9th Oct 2010. The day started with my sudden panic, owh i forgot the charges! i dont really mind on dongdeng since the batt is still 75% full, however Flo's, I totally forgot that rechargable batt, so with some texts and call to Jen, the issue resolved with a purchase of rm64 worth of energizers batt (there goes my meals).

The night went well beyond my exceptions. well, who would expect the aunties i've known for life of whom really seldom if not never wear any make up turned out amazingly colourful that night. and the grooms, wahh..no selipar jepun or baju gata (t-shirt), but groomed in coats and matching shoes. And our humble church turned into a beautiful hall. Everyone seems to be very exited. I dont really know how to explain the feeling, just imagine when u attend a wedding of close relative you might sense this feeling as if you can feel the love in the air, well times that to 22! The church is absolutely filled with loves (almost suffocated by it, hehe kiding!)

22 couples participated in this event (i couldnt desplays all pix in here, but you might want to check on my FB, easier to upload in there).

Weekend Agendas

Exited for this weekend. My dad called last monday reminding me to get back home this weekend. And with the authority given, summoning and dragging my brothers along. He talked about this weekend for months now, a mass wedding vow renewal at our local church.

I dont really know what to expect, but according to the details he gave and some reading in the church's FB wall, it might involves some fancy dresses. Hehe, cought this posted by the Pastor's wife "..kami p cuba baju tpt c Ibu Nuriah, nga tiada yg ngam..bukan body yg besar tau..tapi baju tu yg kecil sangattttt.." kahkah! I thought I am the only one using this line.

My dad asked me to cover the ceremony. What? I dont even know how to ambil gambar properly. But well, hantam saja lah. And actually am exited to be in this function pasal mau try test that flash (finally bought that flash!!! ~ I'll be eating maggi for the rest of the month ~ sigh).

Happy weekend everyone! (weekend start in 7 hours)

CV

Updating my CV after almost 4 years left undusted. It is a mixed feelings process I must say, first the melancholy feeling for a potential changes in life (I am currently looking for another job, so it's surely means a change, and I am clinging hard to the comfort of present life).

Then come the updating where I have to revamp the content, and it amaze me on the many details to add on. Erasing many of the education details and summarized it into only few lines, while proudly add on the working experiences (rasa macam tidak tau apa apa, tapi bergaya tulis banyak-banyak). Then putting on the expected salary (sambil-sambil projecting apa figure to put in 10 years time nanti). I must admit, it feels good to actually have a list of things that you are good at (well, I had never been given any NCR during my entire service with the company, so I guess I might be good).

Submitted the CV and a job application ~ of course with the highest hope of getting the job. Now it is time to nervously wait and wonder what might happen.
